Piarom Dates has the highest nutritional value among its counterparts, so it is considered the most desirable dates in the world. Piarom dates are produced in Hajiabad, Hormozgan Province, Southern Iran. Hajiabad city is the only area that cultivates Piarom Date. The dates are grown organically, and there is no chemical in the harvest process. With their low moisture content of less than 15%, Piarom dates are classified under semi-dry date fruits.
Piarom dates are long, slender, oval dates, with thin skin and almost black. They are around 3-5cm in size (larger than other date varieties) and are considered semi-dried due to their low moisture content of less than 15%, lower than different types of dates.
